Jonagold Apple

• Jonagold Apples were developed at the New York State Agricultural Experiment Station. A blend of Jonathan and Golden Delicious apples they debuted in 1968.
  
• Jonagold sports a unique honey-tart flavor, and crispy, juicy nearly yellow flesh and a yellow-green base skin color with a red-orange blush.
• Excellent both for eating fresh and for cooking, Jonagolds make great fried apples. Sauté them in a little butter, add a little cinnamon and serve!
